About MOMS Clubs InternationalBuy at Art.com

MOMS, which stands for "Moms Offering Moms Support", started in 1983 by a stay at home mom in California who was unable to find a support group for stay at home mothers. MOMS club now has over 2000 chapters nationwide and over 100,000 members. Some of the benefits of being a MOMS club member are scheduled play dates, monthly mom’s night out, monthly family day out and helping hands.

Why Preschoolers Love MOMS Club

Organized playdates make it possible for preschoolers who are just beginning to become social, learn how to move beyond parallel play. MOMS Club offers them an opportunity to meet and play with children their own age. They love interacting with the other children, playing with toys other than their own and experiencing exciting outings they may not have otherwise participated in.

Why Moms Love MOMS Club

Meeting and socializing with other stay at home moms makes you feel less isolated. Many outings, playdates and nights out are scheduled every month in an effort to get moms and preschoolers out of the house and experiencing life. Taking advantage of the planned events will enable moms to get the most out of their community and encourage relationships with other parents. Enjoying the scheduled outings helps moms feel like they are meeting the social and developmental needs of their child while at the same time staying connected with other adults.
